Jumpsquare Group is realising a relaunch for the two Spacejump trampoline parks in Kerkrade and Maastricht. This takeover was achieved in close cooperation with Wyckerveste the owner and lessor of both locations. The parks will be continued under the Jumpsquare formula. Everything is aimed at reopening the doors as soon as possible so that children can come and jump again soon! Wednesday 21 October is the opening of Jumpsquare Kerkrade and Thursday 22 October is then the turn of Jumpsquare Maastricht.
Opened in mid-2016, Spacejump Parkstad trampoline park is located in the LeisureDome around the Roda JC stadium in Kerkrade. At the end of 2018, Spacejump opened a second park in Maastricht near the Brusselse Poort. Last September, the holding company to which both Spacejump parks belonged had to file for bankruptcy.
After reopening, both parks will be further transformed into Jumpsquare in the coming weeks and new attractions such as the VALO computer jump trampolines will be added. This acquisition brings the number of Jumpsquare trampoline parks to 15, of which 12 are in the Netherlands and three in Belgium. Roland van Geest (CEO Jumpsquare Group): "We look forward to welcoming the teams and regular visitors of both parks within our group. Despite the bizarre situation we now find ourselves in as a result of a flaring Corona virus, we are confident that we will be able to successfully relaunch both locations and further expand them in the coming years with the addition of new attractions."
Jumpsquare Kerkrade and Maastricht normally offer the following activities: free jumping in time slots of 30 to 120 minutes, birthday parties and special lesson programmes such as JumpScool (stunt & tricks) and JumpFit (fitness). As a result of the new government measures, the catering function will be limited to take-away when it reopens and the trampoline park's capacity is limited in line with guidelines. Until the end of this year, special opening promotions apply to both parks namely: a day pass for €25 (= free jumping all day), a subscription for only €35 per month (= free jumping Monday to Friday every day) and 20% discount on a birthday party.
