Acquisition I-Jump Amsterdam by Jumpsquare Group
Jumpsquare Group, the parent company behind the Jumpsquare and Jump XL formula has acquired the location of the former I-Jump trampoline park and will relaunch the trampoline park under the Jumpsquare formula.
End of 2016, the Family Active centre opened its doors in Amsterdam-Noord (Kadoelen) with a combination of the I-Jump trampoline park and the indoor playground Darteldome. Last autumn, the centre closed to the public. Two parties have since realised a relaunch, namely: Jumpsquare for the trampoline park and Monkey Town for the playground.
The trampoline park will continue under the name Jumpsquare Amsterdam-Noord and will first be completely renovated. Thus, the trampoline park will be largely replaced with new attractions such as: a trapeze with airbag, a Ninja course, a multisport court as well as many interactive elements including the latest innovation called the VALO jump. This is a combination of trampolines and TV screens that can be used to play computer games and compete against each other! The catering and the offer within it will also be completely revamped with the addition of the Thirty-Six Bistro concept.
Jumpsquare expects to open the new trampoline park end of May. The exact opening date will follow via the website and the social media channels. The former I-Jump location will be the second Jumpsquare within Amsterdam. Earlier in 2017, the group opened a trampoline park at the DG site on Daniël Goedkoopstraat in Amsterdam-Oost.
In total, Jumpsquare Group operates over 30 trampoline parks in 4 countries under both Jumpsquare and the Jump XL formula. Within the Netherlands, with the opening of Jumpsquare Amsterdam-Noord, there are a total of 22 branches.
